I was just wondering what would be a good DoL and or DoH to pick up for monk/ pug . I cant decide between leather or blacksmith to take to 50 first? any thoughts ? or any other profession that would be beneficial first.

Most of the crafted gear you will be using will come from clothcraft so that would be a good choice. In terms of DoL both miner and botanist can make you huge amounts of gil to support your DoM/DoW classes. Personally the only craft/gathering job I have at 50 is botanist, I find that I can make enough gil from this alone to support my other classes.
Leather and Weaver are the 2 DoH you want the most.
thank you ! , with weaver it is good to level botany correct
botany would certainly allow you to get a lot of materials free if gil is an issue.
I did WVR/LTW for PUG. Botany definitely helps in the mat-gathering process (harvesting, specifically, not logging).
All WVR mats are easily farmed with your PUG, too.
Moko Grass > Cotton Boll > Diremite Web > Flax > Karakul Fleece.
The only one that's not really DoW/DoM farmable is regular Fleece, which is either made through 40~ Leatherworker or received from high-end Weaver Local Leves.
That being said, doing WVR local leves is a great way to get materials while getting free exp.
thanks thanks , still on edge on which to take first to 50 bard or monk currently around the 30's~ in both tough time so far.. i like them both
