Palace/HoH QoL improvement through giving certain items extra use.

I think that Palace Of The Dead and Heaven On High as a going concern could benefit from a quality of life improvement in regards to aetherpool, or rather aetherpool grips.

The need to build up Aetherpool arm & armor and sacrifice it to acquire grips for weapons could be supplemented by adding the ability to trade Alexandrite, Timeworn Artifacts and Loathsome Memories for grips. Currently the acquisition path is just too steep and you can easily be a victim of RNG (getting no aetherpool at all, or only armor gains from silver chests) in what should otherwise be a simple process. These are not relic weapons, but alas it does seem fair to use items that are involved with relic weapons to help speed up the acquisition of PotD/HoH weapons. Exchanging 50 Alexandrite for 1 grip seems fair. And how about 10 Timeworn Artifacts for 1 grip, and also 10 Loathsome Memories of the Dying as a 3rd exchange option?

Adding these 3 would just open things up a little, which is something that older content can always benefit from, due to player activity dilution from ongoing content additions. Perhaps restricting the exchanges to 1x of each of the 3 currency types per week (3 grips total) could be a likewise fair counter balance. This exchange addition would also be of help to players from regions with less than perfect internet reliability- in regards to losing all aetherpool pickups in solo DD runs if your connection drops at all.

These exchange options would not be available for Eureka Orthos' grips obviously.
