Armor Question

I play a dragoon and a reaper but the armor I get for my reaper I cannot get for my dragoon because it says I already have it. but when I put it on my dragoon and try to save it wants me to re assign it.. and I want it for both but I cannot have two copies of the same armor and jobs cannot share it.. Is there a work around or can this be changed but the team?

Jobs can share armour, nothing stopping it at all.

From memory you're hitting something a bit unusual in the settings there – the "Reassign Gear" option is for overwriting the entire list of items on the gearset with all the items you are currently wearing, and that confirmation box is really asking whether you want to overwrite the gearset.

If you've just changed some equipment pieces and need to update the gearset, the quick way of doing that is to press the little "circling arrows" update button in the top-right corner of the main Character menu, below the Reputation tab. Or if you're on PS4/PS5, a "Triangle button" icon appears over the update button if you change anything, and you just need to press that to save it.

In any case, gear pieces can be assigned to multiple gearsets, so you would just be assigning it to the dragoon gearset in addition to the reaper gearset. Reaper will be entirely unaffected.
