I actually *LOVE* the Xaela clans. They were absolutely my favorite part of Stormblood, and I really hope we get a chance to check in on those characters again in the future.

But one thing I find I dislike about actively playing an Au Ra, though, is that because your tail and horns clip through armor, it makes it nearly impossible to wear certain gear.

For example, the Xaela's darker scales look great with a lot of Dark Knight armor sets. However, they look quite out-of-place with some of the more casual, Summer-themed outfits, or even just brighter outfits.

Conversely, I really like the Raen's warmer skin-tone options, and their eyes are noticeably lighter (even the Xaela's "whites" of their eyes are actually a super dark grey). But the sand-colored horns and tail look absolutely awful with some of the darker armor sets, like the Pandaemonium stuff.

My own personal hope would be, maybe having a "Tribe" of Au Ra that keep the same overall body and proportions, but without a tail, and maybe even some short (pointed?) ears, which are hidden with helmets, but also let you see your earrings when worn.

Again, that's just my own preference, and I totally get some folks are going to say "just play a Hyur". Thing is, I *do* like the Au Ra's animations and overall personality, and I also like that they're not only tall, but much more muscular than most races. They feel much more "heroic", to me, as I like my character to look "cool" most of the time, but I also appreciate having that flexibility to try different "looks".

Particularly given how many Jobs now exist, I really like being able to have a wildly different look for each one. But the Au Ra tails and horns make that feel kind of impossible to venture out too far from what colors "match" their given tribe.

Just my two cents.
