My pleasure, anything else ?
https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Enrage_(term)Clearing savage doesn't even come close to requiring optimal play. You have to do your rotations correct kinda, but the main thing is just doing every mechanic right. If the whole group does all mechanics, you will clear the content. Sure, you have to do your rotation correct and understand your job, but you don't have to play it optimally at all.
Damage meters should never be encouraged, especially not by someone who doesn't even step foot in the content.
and yes, people are absolutely parsing queued normal content.
My pleasure, anything else ?
Do you even do savage content? If you think you need to be optimal I highly doubt it. Enrage is not that severe. I doubt you even leave limsa lominsa, known erp diddler
Obviously you dont do savage either since you're spending your entire time complaining on the forums because you cant join groups as you need half decent parses

Do you? Because a quick glance says otherwise.
Nevertheless, it all depends on your aspirations. A group trying to clear week 12 can get away with sloppy rotational mistakes or several deaths provided they don't cause a snowball. People aiming for week 1-3 have significantly less leeway. Especially week 1 where enrage is a real factor. Even in the later weeks where gear carries you, playing more optimally allows for mechanic skips which, in turn, makes the fights easier. Nobody is asking for perfection but if you're a Sage spamming E.Prog on every single AoE, you're essentially forcing everyone else to compensate for your refusal to play your job properly.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."

This. You can improve your gear even without clearing savage at all. By the time the odd patches roll around, its possible to almost totally kit yourself out in savage level gear without ever clearing one. It won't be optimal, but the difference will be negligible.
