Whats funny Cactbot is more or less just DBM from WoW, but more so, Splatoon is similar to a addon for WoW that was developed during Wrath of the Lich King called AVR (Augmented Virtual Reality).
Difference between Splatoon and AVR is that Splatoon actually works way better than AVR ever did, and AVR was banned all the way back in WotLK by Blizzard. Anytime a addon makes its way to do what AVR does, it gets banned or patched out fairly fast by Blizzard. SE turns a blind eye to all mods/addons/Plugins, unfortunately.

Extremely gross exaggeration. Banning/preventing texture mods and mare would have a minimal impact on the number of subscribers. Additionally there isn't a way to block the people using tools to cheat that wouldn't nuke texture mods/mare in the process.

As for market board auto undercutting, maybe a potential solution is only being able to sell things in rounded numbers rather than being able to change by single Gil values? So maybe you can only adjust the price by 1 thousand or 100. This won’t fix everything but at least you won’t be undercut by 1 Gil

These same people spent years using mods as well. That's all I'm gonna say really.

They can, but its 90% more work - because SE would have to design a method of scanning players' folder for modifications of specific kinds and not just texture mods. Which mean they would have to have the code rule out SPECIFIC modifications or files rather than flat out limiting manipulation of ALL files.

Either SE is going to ban all of it or none of it.

Beyond that. Cheaters do not usually get banned because they were reported, they get banned because their cheating is blatant enough for them to get caught by GMs.
