Search Info and Japanese Names....

I've never understood it since the beginning of the game and at this point I never will, but some of you, most I would even wager to say, put some of the weirdest shit in your search info. Here's just some examples of what I saw from the last three characters I looked at:

"Dancing upon the threads of fate" (followed by a bunch of Japanese text that I know they can't read)

"Ridiculous mommy milkers!"

"Dogs should be raw, and living."

And these are mild examples. I have seen so much worse than this and I just don't get it. A person sat down, thought this stuff up, and then typed it out to be displayed to everyone they meet. Why is this community so strange?

Also, why all the Japanese names? Do you all wish you were Japanese that badly?

Havent really seen people with wierd search info, maybe its your server thats a bit unlucky. I play in both moogle and louisoix and rarely see wierd stuff.
But the japanese thing… like 8 out of 10 people i meet have a japanese/chinese name. Not exaggerating xD

Man discovers anonymous internet people playing a Japanese MMO are weird and prone to use anime names, news at 11.

Also, an entire clan's names are firmly rooted in Japanese, see columns 31-33, so some of them are just random names from people who were Raen at character creation.

I actually am Japanese and grew up in Okinawa.

Alot might have been influenced by a certain song from The Vapors released in like 1980 tho...

Usually it's anime fans (Japanese cartoons). Anime is extremely popular around the world, so you get a lot of people wishing they were Japanese or lived in Japan based solely on their knowledge of anime, even though the reality might be completely different than that. They often go out of their way to compare this game to anime and create characters that resemble an anime they like.
