    my proposal for a way to spice up roulettes

    a high stakes roulette wheel only for roulette runs, not on first time clear runs...needs warning disclaimer b4 accepting quest to unlock.

    an optional wheel where from the beginning of the dungeon until you interact with the enemies in the dungeon that helps/hinters your journey into the roulette.

    stat up
    money up
    tome/xp up
    one life (double bonus requiring u to be alive)
    fortune's favor (stat/money/tome up x2, with 1 auto rez and a instance regen) 1% chance
    stat down *debuff failure's mark
    money half *debuff failure's mark
    tome half *debuff failure's mark
    morbol's mystery (activates during boss fights, random infliction, good/bad bonus completely random) *debuff failure's mark 1% chance

    failure's mark : disconnect/exiting an instance no matter the reason extends your leave penalty from 30 mins to 1 hr. erases upon exit from duty instance for leavers or erases upon completing duty instance.

    The thing is that roulettes, by design, usually match you with someone who queues directly for a duty. Who queues directly for duties? Usually just first timers. Very rarely it may be someone leveling or farming glamour, but generally, you're going to see a Viewing Cutscene returner or new player in there.

    So that means that roulettes almost always do involve a first timer except for Expert roulette. However, if SE distinguishes when this is not the case they could do something like this.

    this is an optional wheel who those who runs the roulettes, optional and personal from person to person not necessary for people doing the dungeon, those who want to spice up the run should they desire

    At this late juncture, simply removing the daily/weekly caps on tomes would be one way to get people running roulettes more often. Imagine being able to just spam your favorite roulette over and over again and continue getting the "daily" benefit from it. Would be cool, imo. And why not? It gives players something to do. I do not imagine this would be very difficult to implement.
    Beyond that, just letting us pull wall to wall in expert would be a nice change of pace. The mobs melt anyway, and most tanks (lol) have so much self healing/mitigation that healers aren't even needed. It'd be cool to breeze through the dungeon while doing chunky meaty pulls that required a small amount of self awareness. To accomplish this, they could simply remove the walls from dungeons and let players continue to pull. I do not imagine this would be very difficult to implement. Lastly, anytime someone suggests creating a boss whose sole mechanic is that he summons adds, maybe remove that person from the room. Nobody who just spent several minutes killing trash adds wants to hit up a boss that's just more trash adds. Stop doing this.

    Going into pipe-dream territory now, but ... Theme days would also be cool as hell, but I know I'm asking for way too much. Imagine if Wednesday was like... "Nierly at the weekend, Wednesday!" or something, and doing Nier raids on that day gave you an option to pick one of the glam pieces from the loot table and simply obtain it at the end of the run, no rng involved, but on this day the content sets entrants to minimum ilvl so it's actually got some teeth. And maybe Friday could be like Freakshow Friday or something, where fighting Kefka on normal difficulty gives you chances at his savage glam loot in the rolls, while fighting his savage mode lets you just pick a glampiece and have it, idk man. And maybe the first day of each week could be dedicated to different capstone dungeons, like the first Monday of the month could be for level 50 content, and the second could be for level 60, and so on; and on those days, doing those dungeons would actually give you pity pieces at the end so you can actually go and finally get that glampiece from swallow's compass or w/e that you've been unlucky about for years. I'm just spitballing while I'm bored at work, but you get what I mean, right? This game's got a lot of old content to work with. It's weird that the devs don't take advantage of that imo. Closest they'll come to this is the mogtome event, which is good, but more like that, cycled regularly, would be wonderful.

    honestly they should get rid of guildheist roulette, it doesnt help the player experience, its just sits there in dust sadly.. and also 5/6/7/8/9 roueltte needs a name change, i would say post story roulette or manderville's manderwheel where mgp can be earned.
