Personally would love to see a classic anime-style strike that does damage after a delay.

Additional Effect: Struck
Every second Struck is applied to the enemy increases its stacks by 1, up to a maximum of 5.
Struck effect ends upon using another action.
Cancels auto-attack upon execution.

Sheathe
Weaponskill, Instant, 30m
The samurai elegantly sheathes their sword, removing their Struck effect from the enemy and dealing damage proportional to the number of stacks, up to a maximum of ###.

※This action cannot be assigned to a hotbar.


In short, melee strike with the weapon, stop attacking for 5 seconds, then sheathe the sword at which point the slice effect would occur alongside big damage. The potency would need to be enough to compensate for the 5 seconds of not attacking. An attack like this should probably either have an innate cooldown or be the payoff to building up some manner of combat resource, such that it happens no more than once a minute or perhaps longer, keeping it feeling both strong and special.

Honestly just posting this for fun to share it; I don't anticipate this feedback making it into the game.
