As title suggests, a buff that lasts one week (for example) if the linkshell acomplishes certain tasks like killing NM's, or a certain amount of people together at a certain time for another.

It'd be cool for a little buff. Like how much gil you can earn from completing a quest together as a LS.
As far as exp and stats, people wouldn't do random stuff together unless it was minor.
Eh sure yeah i guess why not.
Neat idea, but I would save it for the Free Companies.
Do we really need more buffs? We already have the full/light party buff which is more than enough.
2.0 - LS-Primalbuff {You can have this}
I think you may have mis-attributed where the anger is...I'm not saying guild content is bad or anything. But the problem she's getting at is that people don't do anything outside of their linkshells or give anyone outside their LS a chance.You must be new to MMORPGs...
Many other mmos do this by putting guilds on weekly or monthly guild quests where anyone can contribute. Rift for example had a system where guilds earned points they could use to buy abilities from the guild menu. Stuff like guild banners that allowed people to teleport to the area when placed by a leader and stuff like that were the perks. I tihnk one even raised drop rates by like 1% per point up to a max of 5 points allowed or something.
I mean even in crowded areas i've never seen more than probably 30 lines of conversation the entire time i've played.
I dont know I find JP players to be quite social with the pugs and everything. In fact, I could say the same for a lot of the EU players I've met. Most of the anti-social vibe seems to be coming from North America imo.well that's a good point i suppose. though really the fact that this is the second most antisocial game i've ever seen (first being XI) is more the fault of the players than anything.
Or maybe XI's difficulty forcing people to only party with who they trust and that bleeding over into xiv.
But yeah the devs could probably do more to get us to open up.
