We should be able to change eye colour at the aesthetician

The same goes with skin colour. I can understand needing a Fantasia to change the shapes of your character's features, their gender and their race, but all colour related changes should be editable via the aesthetician.

In many instances, eye colour is being matched with the player's current hair colour as a way to make the eyes "pop" by using contrasting/brighter/darker colours to the hair. This is all made irrelevant when a player decides to change their hair colour, where the eyes will no longer match and requires them to buy another Fantasia for such a minute detail.

This goes for both skin and eye colour, as many times a player will look at all of the different lighting options given when editing their character, then will find out later that a certain zone makes their skin or eyes look a way they don't like.

I read a great suggestion earlier from someone where they posed the idea that there should be a timer mechanic after using a Fantasia:
Once the character finished re-editing their character, there should be a 1-3 hour window where they are allowed to go back and re-edit up to 2 more times. This would give the player time to visit their favorite zones, wait through a few day/night cycles, do some G-pose, try on some new clothes, etc., to get a feel for how their new character looks in different circumstances.

I don't. It's just a cash grab in a subscription based game where you also pay for every expansion. Idiots opened that door. It'll never close again.

I remember during a Q&A, Yoshi-P mused at the idea of letting players change eye color at the aesthetician but nothing seems to have ever come from it. ¯\_( ◉ 3 ◉ )_/¯
(I want to say that it was before ShB but I'm not 100% sure)

Yeah it would be nice to not have to use a fantasia to change eye colour especially since it's something so small.
They could maybe add something like coloured contacts? Or just straight up letting you change your eye colour in the aesthetician.

Ideally, we'd be able to change everything but race, clan, and gender at the aesthetician, with the gil cost scaling with how much is changed. But fantasias make too many sales.

ideally fantasias would just eb for race/gender

Ironically, race, clan, and gender are what Fantasia addicts change the most, with stuff like eye color, skin tone, or voice generally being more like 'oopsies' while creating the character.

so apparently the only option that doesn't "stress the newbies" is either pressing 1211111111, or do nothing at all.

For glam purposes, 100%. Fantasia: Not even once.

Tbf I think it's also BS, but I felt wording it this way would avoid sounding too abrasive and threatening to the fat pockets of SE.

God I just want them to listen, though.

Coloured contacts was something I was thinking as well! If SE really didn't want to lose sales from all Fantasia f***-ups, they could at least add the option to grind for coloured contacts that we can apply to the upcoming DT eye glam slots. (Although it might screw with odd eyes, because I don't expect SE will do the work to figure out a dual-eye slot mech, let alone this kind of feature)

Honestly the aesthetician should just be the way to go, even if it means adding a simple change like this:
