


That's the point. I loved Destiny 2, and if reports are to be believed, devs begged execs to allow them to implement changes the community kept asking for, but they say no.
Look at Bungie now.
It's the usual problem. People with gigantic egos in expensive suits making decisions on things they understand nothing about, it blows up in their faces and instead of getting rid of the incompetent management that caused the problem the people who actually made the product successful in the first place get fired.
Unfortunately it's nothing new.
