How do you play Fall Guys event when it's laggy as hell ?

How are we meant to play and even win when it laggs like I am in an american DC ?

Is the instance even in Materia ?

Having a go, but it seems like there's no chance to win.

Winning the last round is pure RNG anyway, its all luck if you get hit by the bombs or not, i won twice , got lucky and not hit by a single bomb, and other times getting hit by 3 or 4.

Except for their starting point, those bombs are not random at all. They drop in left to right pattern across the level at a constant rate.

... though to be serious, I take the lag and the trouble I have getting things to happen at all as part of the challenge. If everybody had the same levels of trouble it would be more fair though.

As someone who got the King Bean title very early, I can guarantee it's not random.

A big question is, how big is your ping and how steady is it?
If your ping is very unsteady then there's no way to predict anything.
On the otherhand, if it's high (but excessively so), but steady, then it becomes a problem of learning of when things snapshot.

If your "lag" is relatively constant, like mine is, then you can adapt to it. Do some tests!

Just stand under a pendulum and pay attention to when it hits you. If it hits you earlier than expected, take note. If it hits you later than expected, take note. And whatever you note, take that into consideration when approaching all obstacles.

It doesn't lag any more than it does in any other content in the game. You are only thinking it does because you don't understand the event's aoes/snapshots.

this mode was built for sub-100 ping, i'm at 130 ping and things that should not hit me are hitting me.
