I agree that I felt this way about it at the time. That Rhalgr's Reach was an odd choice. But it is petty to nitpick such little decisions.
I assume you didn't finish the Monk quests.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Lackluster compared to Idyllshire? There's a giant statue of Rhalgr, a jumping puzzle and a nice little dip of water. It looks very comfy compared to smelly, boring looking, rustic, industrial ass gobbie town with probably the most annoying town music in the game.
Ok calling out the gobbies is uncalled for me. I love those fellas but still I'm so sick and tired of Idyllshire. It just feels so ugh and bland compared to future hubs, personally.
If you're putting your opinion on the internet, there's always going to be someone who will oppose whatever you write. Especially when it's just complaining about a zone from 6 years ago.
If you don't want "disrespectful" comments, them just don't make a thread. That simple. Either that or just ignore them.
In comparison to other hubs, Rhalgrs Reach is the worst and most pointless.That... goes for literally every hub. Nobody went to Mor Dhona once HW came out. Nobody went to Idyllshire when Stormblood came out. It's just kind of the way that MMOs work?
What I'm more upset about is that for 2 expansions now we haven't had a hub area where we can use mounts.
So we have to put up with bullying, and just allow it to exist because people make threads. Nice logic there. If you're putting your opinion on the internet, there's always going to be someone who will oppose whatever you write. Especially when it's just complaining about a zone from 6 years ago.

If you consider someone dismissing your opinion as bullying, that's a you issue. Not everyone will care about the same things.
Just as you're free to make a thread, others are allowed to say their opinion of it.
Replying with a gif that is sarcastic and rude isn't disagreeing with my opinion. It's bullying, and its not proper forum behavior.
What can you actually do about it, though? You could report it, but the mods are notoriously haphazard about actually doing anything. Replying just feeds the need for attention. The best you can do is ignore them; they won't go away, but at least it spares you the bother of replying (especially on a forum with limited daily posts).
