What can you actually do about it, though? You could report it, but the mods are notoriously haphazard about actually doing anything. Replying just feeds the need for attention. The best you can do is ignore them; they won't go away, but at least it spares you the bother of replying (especially on a forum with limited daily posts).

This is spot on. Just report instead of making a scene. Will be better for everyone involved.
