Suggestion for FFXIV-2

I have done all of the side quest and all of the role quests however there is still so much about the first from before the flood that we do not know about. I understand that we all know what is going to happen and we know most of the major events that happened. But to say a prequel would not be worth it or that they will need to retcon a lot of stuff for it is untrue. They can take all that we know already and delve deeper into the events that transpired. And even if a prequel is out of the question they could give us a game set 100 years later or a thousand or something to show us what happened to the first after the events of ffxiv.

Why rehash the First when there are other shards to start fresh on?

Sounds nice enough, I would favor the setting in the future a la Final Fantasy X, in a post-apocalyptic story far, far away in the future.


I think Square-Enix is afraid to experiment with MMOs, this game (FFXIV) is getting very old and boring and needs a fresh restart, I would insta-jump to the new ship without abandoning this one.


Forgot to mention, they ought to keep Miqo'te and Hyur races at least if not all of them.
