Allow Seeker of the Sun miqo'te to have longer fangs

Longer fangs are a feature available only to Keeper of the Moon miqo'te and with the upcoming graphical update, there will likely be some changes or updates to the options available in the character creation menu.

This is why I would like to take this opportunity to ask the developers to let Seekers of the Sun have long fangs, just like the Keepers.


While I realize this might be seen as "stealing" subracial features from the Keepers, I believe this option should be available for the Seekers due to several reasons:

1. The main visual distinction between both groups is found in the eyes because of the amount of light they are exposed to: more for Seekers, less for Keepers.

2. Keepers of the Moon already have the ability to choose features that are meant for Seekers such as the leonine tail option.

3. Both groups can choose skin tones that resemble those favored by the other. Keepers in particular have it a bit easier in my opinion to look like a Seeker in this regard, as the latter has less blue-ish skin tone options.

4. There's lore about the existence of miqo'te being born from the interaction between both groups, which is already reflected in the character creation, as shown in the 2nd and 3rd points. Adding fangs to the possible options would expand the choices for those role play focused players too.


Both groups will still get to keep other differences such as the racial face paint options, although I wish we could mix and match these as we desired as well and between face types.

I also have the same feeling about beard options, as they are quite lacking for miqo'te in general and locked to specific faces but that's a different issue.

Finally, it seems that fang size differs depending on the face type chosen, so I would like to ask the devs to let us choose the fang size instead of tying it to the face type.

Have always thought Miqo'te could stand to look less human, and giving them fangs across the board would definitely be a step in the right direction.

The the uniqueness of both races should be available on the other.

So mooncats can also have slitted eyes.

But like said, if you're gonna lose racial trait specialty between your Tribes/Races.

Then it should go both ways.

Since not only would it remove specialty between both clans.
But it would practically leave no reason for moon cats, except for more darker tones. More chocolate/monochrome, than Vanilla/bright.

So in all fairness, with the destruction of clan specialty. Mooncats would also have the option for the same eyes of Suncats.

ps. bringing up the mixing of the clans is quite similar to how you have the mixing of the races.

We don't have any news about a character creator update.
The biggest concerns is that everything players have done/enjoyed is passed on in a graphical improved way.
(which includes, glassiness/glow).

if they do add clan mixing. expect it to be almost as likely as half mixed races

The idea is to make long fangs for Seekers a possibility. Not everyone has to go through with it and a player can choose to stick to the more canonical appearance of their desired clan if they so wish.

I would only be okay with it if we also got access to the slit cat eyes. Each clan has 1 unique cat thing they offer, Keepers have fangs and Seekers have the eyes. Seekers are already more popular due to the slit kitty eyes.

The A Realm Reborn version brought some differences: for instance the Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te's ears are wider with thick hair, while the Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te have stylized ears with short hair and are slightly longer and thinner.

If you have pictures that actually show this difference, please show me, because to me ears look exactly the same for both. They only change depending on the hairstyle and not the race.

If there's any difference, it's extremely subtle.

Nothing I've really payed attention to myself.
It's just something I found while searching if there were some lore behind the fangs or not.
