Don't worry about it, you just kicked the proverbial hornet's nest by suggesting making certain parts of the game more readily available and accessible to all players, which threatens the sense of superiority they get from having access to Special Things only the Super Cool Kids know about. Making it a you problem deflects from the fact that the only thing they care about in this discussion is themselves, lol.

But I agree, housing is an absolute mess in every respect and it's a shame features like subs and airships are restricted the way they are. Making them a more integral part of housing overall would be a lot more fun and potentially add a new and interesting facet to the system beyond simply decorating that everybody could join in.

I love the self victimization in that post, and the fact you talk about "sense of superiority" as you are victimizing yourself in every single post you make.

Also FYI, when you "give it to everyone", that causes inflation, you give a 500k "free" income to everyone, prices go up with it, nothing comes for free, let's not forget the 500k is PER CHARACTER.

I know it really pains you, but not everything is for everyone, I have difficulties following a lot of the mechanics in FFXIV because I just find it hard to follow with all the shiny effects all over the place, so I dont play ultimate, I dont ask the game devs to change it for me, I dont do it.

I love how for some reason you see me as this person that is extra angry and absolutely fuming while the reality is that you and I just disagree on the topic of housing, it really is not that deep, me being firm on my opinion doesn't mean I'm mad, angry or scared, it's perfectly okay to disagree

Prices would only come down faster on the sub exclusive loot, which they already do faster than most of those running the workshop farms like. That's why so many have switched to focusing solely on the Salvaged Accessories. The value of those isn't tied to the marketboard. They have a fixed Sell to Vendor value.

We can't predict what opening workshops to individual players would do since players react in different ways. If they only run the subs to get the sub exclusive loot and then ignore them until new loot is added, then it probably wouldn't change things on the marketboard much other than the sub exclusive loot would have almost zero value from day one. If instead they choose to switch to the Salvaged Accessory farming once they got the exclusives they wanted, inflation on items being sold on the market board would go crazy because all those players would be bringing in that extra 1.5 to 2 million gil a week. The more gil players earn, the more they're willing to pay to get what they want.

He also said that personal workshops most likely would not work the same as the current workshops if added. It was something they were considering, not something that had specific plans to do.

Then again, the same thing was said when they talked about personal houses after they introduced FC housing. If they took the path of least resistance, the workshop may end up the same after all.
