Statice is a rogue SCH fae that has had enough of their former master's abuse and goes "I'm a healer, but..."

    Change my mind.

I just want, more than anything at LEAST, for them to give us a statice pet glamour for the fairies. Let me have my goth fairy so she and I can dress up together!

I'd love if we could use Statice's appearace for the faerie glam... It would match the mount version!

I honestly like that we can use the carbuncle, but I actually wanted more faerie options. Even Feo Ul's appearance would be nice to have, and with enough justification for a nice little quest... they want their sapling to remember them all the time.

    FF?

    I thought that was NeiR?

Haven't ever played the games but did look into their lore a while back. Unless I horribly misunderstood it, Grimoire Wiess (and the others) were basically a lot (and I mean...a LOT...) of dead children's souls sacrificed and combined to create magic after the white powder/plague at the end of Drakengard somewhat ruptured the planes and introduced the possibility for magic on Earth. Lots of experiments were conducted, often on children (I guess vitality of soul and bodies able to heal quickly as well as less strong willed/stubborn than adults?), resulting in several outcomes, some of which were the weapons (like Emil and his sister), and others being the Grimoires, made out of many children's souls to allow the use of magic in Humans that could use them.

    ...perhaps I'm misremembering?

Though I'm kinda with Fulminating that it's...creepy.

Hadn't done this until tonight and just did one path. I heard "Nym". Now I'm interested.

I didn't care for another "frolic" "vacadventure" excursion (the reason I didn't bother going back to Rokon, that and I never cared much for Hingashi lore anyway), but now that they've mentioned Nym and thousand year old ruins...my interest is piqued. I know what I'm getting my weekly tomes with next week...

    ...ahem, now then, OP:

I can't imagine them doing a "heal or damage" Faerie based on how they have the combat system. The Devs ALREADY don't like Energy Drain as it is (and likewise, a lot of SCH players don't, either; even many who like the concept think the pitiful damage difference is stupid). I can't really see them going more down that route with the present combat system in place. And even if they changed up the combat system and healer gameplay...probably not. The game is designed for rigid combat roles (RDM and SMN are the two Jobs that buck this trend, and both have generated all kinds of balance arguments and complaints), so if they did give you damage, it would be token and the rest of your abilities balanced around it.

New level 90 ability: Automaton Quee- er, uh..."damaging faerie!", you hit this every 2 mins and it does...30 potency of damage per tick for 30 seconds! Oh, incidentally and totally not related, Biolysis now does 30 less potency of damage per tick. No relation. That would be silly.
