This is mostly a rant, but hopefully a suggestion that a developer sees (so if people could hype up the thread about for vision that'd be great): But how long has Doman Mahjong been released and they have not added MGP as a reward for playing?

Literally it has been years, and as soon as they introduce this fall guy's thing, you can get MGP as a reward for it, but I still get nothing but the weekly challenge log for Mahjong?

Not to mention that if you play almost any other major Mahjong game online, they have lots of quality of life features that FFXIV still does not have. Mahjong Soul / Riichi City both higlight tiles that are on the field for better vision of a tile. They also have a more restrictive time ruleset so games go by more quickly, and a player can't waste others' time by waiting until the last second on every turn.

I think it's time that the FFXIV dev team really revisits Mahjong and adds a few things. One: Give more of a reward for a gold saucer attraction. The weekly 5k MGP isn't rewarding enough, so people are not going to play it unless they are interested in playing Mahjong(which reduces the amount of people queueing for Mahjong, which is already a struggle to get people to queue). Quality of life updates to make visibility easier and the game flow faster are always welcome, too.

As it stands now, Mahjong is just a minigame that you're better off not even calling a Gold Saucer attraction.
