The particle effects on the umbrella are nice, and I don't necessarily mind it being in the criterion there, but I am very surprised the upgraded version of the umbrella doesn't even come with a 3rd materia slot at the very least. As that could at least give a reason to go for it, as slotting another 8-grade materia like +24 direct hit or whatever would be a nice power boost.
This would actually upset me even more. If you literally had to do content with a level 90 job in order to get level 80 BLU BIS I would be so mad.
