PvP team question

So, we saw at the fan fest 4 teams brawling, it was really fun and my friends and myself wanted to attempt pvp again because we tought, "they're full blown team, so CC team are now available! How come we missed that".

So yesterday we tried to make a pvp team and... well we made the team but we couldn't queue in CC.

So how did those teams do it? How can you practice, as a team, while queuing in soloqueue?
Can we play as a team?

Below Casual and Ranked are options to select "Custom Match". The PvP community collectively organizes matches for this utilizing Discord and the like, but Party finder / 10 friends is an option.

Custom matches don't give rewards, but you are free to choose the map and the players.

Currently there are no incentives to build a PvP team except for essentially an enclosed pvp group with private chat as PvP team vs team matchmaking has been put on hold for years.

There's a discord called cc madness for players to scrim, as the devs decided to shift that responsibility

Various discords exist for that purpose and may depend a bit on region. Given they are from Ragnarok EU, perhaps PvP Revival or EU FFXIV PVP are the way to go for them.

I'm given to understand that Revival is more of an all around pvp hub but cc madness is specifically team organized play regardless of server/world however at this point it wouldn't hurt to join all 3
