The following yellow aoes snap when the previous one in line has fallen, so you'll take the hit regardless even if you've moved out 10 yalms away from it. They really need to loosen up that snapshot window on the yellow ones.
Def does feel like fall guys but holy shit the server are making this mode a ghetto edition of fall guys. I rather play the original game than this due the latency.
My feedback: I hate it. I hate platformers. I hate I have to do platforming for crap rewards when I don't win because I have the obsessive need to 100% every event (Minus titles cause F winning 100 times cause of sensory overload).
Also did I mention I hated it? /opinion

As someone who refunded Fall Guys week 1 and vehemently despises Epic as a company, I'm genuinely shocked that the event here is actually fun and rewards game knowledge with a decently high skill ceiling for stage 3 without being obnoxious. The fact that reaching stage 3 about 18 or so times is enough to buy all the store rewards is amazing for a seasonal, it means people who don't like it or are bad at it can still get everything in a timely manner without too much annoyance.
Then they put that thrice-damned title in for 100 wins and now I'm 88/100 huffing so much copium... I WILL be King Bean!
The other advantage with this event is that you can buy some of the dyes and resell them for quite a lot of gil. I guess that's an added bonus if you're aiming for the title.
I'm very surprised by the quality of stage 3 too. It has a really high skill ceiling, but also just enough rng to throw you a curveball occasionally and keep things fresh. I think a little bit of variance is good because it gives more casual contestants a chance to win if they get a lucky spawn. It would be pretty miserable competing against an optimized player otherwise.
I just reached 100 wins myself and I'm still learning new things about the stage. Really hope they add more stages in future reruns if they're all this fun.

One small nitpick about the Round 2 activity with the coloured crystals: why do they give you a sprint buff when you drop off a crystal? I feel like it should be the opposite, give a sprint buff to someone who gets dinged, loses their crystal, and has to run back for a new one. It would keep the competition a little bit closer that way, and help struggling players catch up. It feels like bad design to reward a speed advantage to players who are already doing well.
Its rewarding a player for completing the path. Giving a failed player sprint wouldn't be much punishment lmao. One small nitpick about the Round 2 activity with the coloured crystals: why do they give you a sprint buff when you drop off a crystal?
