I've made it past the first trial only once, and partway through the second. However, I earned enough of the currency to buy the mount, which is all I wanted from it.

Infuriating and not fun mostly because the net code, fake floors and some stages are nearly impossible even if you play with 1 second behind you still get hit no matter what.

I actually suspect the opposite will happen: skilled players will quickly earn enough currency to get all the rewards, and the majority of them will stop queuing. This means that over time, the skill level of those playing will decrease, thus lowering the difficulty to qualify.

There will certainly be a handful of hardcores out to get the achievement or whatever, but they'll be a minority. They may take the grand prize more often when you're in a round with them, but they're not going to play a meaningful role in anyone not qualifying for round 2 or 3.

gave it a go by myself and again with some FC, its kinda dumb fun, i didn't mind it at all. important not to take it too seriously or it'll prolly get frustrating. i got a single win after 3 hours.

saw a lot of complaints about "netcode" but it just sounds like most ppl don't understand how XIV works in regards to hitboxes. i haven't had any crazy stuns or hits that wasn't me being impatient or just bad. i told my more casual friends to treat all the hitboxes are like Titan's landslides and they understood straight away.

does seem to be bugs though, heard of someone falling through one of the coloured paths in Typhon one as if it had no collision. and i managed to get a lobby of just 4 ppl (which was genuinely fun). but yea, i like it more than i thought i would.

The 3rd round is now a situation where if you get stunned a single time you're done. People are getting very good at it and have solved the puzzle. I figured it out finally, but I'm just not good enough to do it without getting hit at all.

Oddly enough, the one that frustrates me the most is the spinning one where you're constantly spinning and you need to avoid the logs(axes?). All you can do is sort of aim your spin towards an area, but for some reason I keep getting hit or falling off the edge and and having to run back to the beginning of the section.

Happened to me last night! Jumped on to the skinny rail platform and went to turn on to one of the walkways, and despite actually being on it, I clipped through the corner and fell.

    Been enjoying it otherwise.

I agree about the "not to take it too seriously" but then why SE put a 100 wins achievement ? That thing literally ruined my hype when i noticed it in the achievement list. I'm okay about putting some walls to keep the thing alive but :

1 : Even JACTA achievements are capped at 10 wins, which is still a reasonable goal. Because even on very grindy achievements like Tank You, you still have the 100% guarantee you'll progress after your 5-mn bossfight or your 20-mn dungeon. Here, you have to think 1 person on 24 will progress on the achievement, letting 23 people with nothing.
2 : This thing just lead to a negative effect which is people leaving/entering in loop, trying to get a 1-person instance since some people told to everybody they got their wins by doin' this.

Again, i understand the idea about putting walls, to keep the hype alive & stuff, especially due to the collaborative nature of the event. But frustrating people by putting impossible (feeling-related) things to do will just make them leave and having a bad experience. Because i'm sure people would forgive all the hitboxes issues if there wasn't such a punishing prerequisite. I already told that but rewarding participation would be fruitful on the long-term than just asking for winning (Like, putting achievements like "Participate XXX times" or "Wins XXX rounds" would be more rewarding, keeping the grind active and rewarding your determination/participation, even if you don't win the crown). I mean, in Fall Guys, winning is the main goal, for sure. But in FF14, we have maybe other things to do ! I always respected SE's way of making events because they understood having simple event goals will make them enjoyable, like "Do this quest which'll ask you 1 hour", then you're free to enjoy the rest of the event. Here, i'm not even sure i'll keep going about farming this thing.

That's a lot of rant, i know. I really want to enjoy this thing but this achievement is just killing me and it's even creating me some anxiety. I sincerly hope devs will take that into account for the next iteration.

Yeah, as much as I am enjoying the Fall Guys event I don't really like how the third round works. There's only one "winner" and everyone else is a loser. Maybe that's how it works in the actual Fall Guys game, I assume? It would be nice if you could get a reduced prize for 2nd place and 3rd place, at least. Or maybe have a short countdown timer that triggers after the first person clears, and you get a small prize if you can clear within that window. I don't like the feeling of "Oh, somebody won. Stop trying now, because it doesn't matter."

For the one where your character is spinning, if you're playing with mouse and keyboard I find the easiest way is to just hold down both left and right mouse buttons and aim yourself that way. Note that the axes don't swipe across the entire width of the platform, they alternate sort of right half, left half, right half (watch for the squares that light up beneath the axe). Don't try to get fancy and sneak through the arc of the axes, weave your way between in the spaces where they never hit. Edit: Wait, that part is swinging balls or something, not axes.

For the one with the rotating finger, I dunno, I'm not sure there is a perfect method other than "hope you can get it pointing in the right direction."

Yeah, I'd rather be able to keep trying to at least finish the course.
