As a warning, it is very timegated and you don't want to start buying things from the island shop until you've built up a stock of currency. The construction process loves throwing demands for payment at you.

I can't say it's actually good content, but there's no pressure and you get some good glamours out of it by the end (because they all got put in there to push us to engage with content whether we like it or not).

Look on Reddit or Discord for the "Overseas Casuals" group, which recommends weekly crafting lists for the annoying workshop spreadsheet.

Best thing about IS is you can do it while waiting in queues. Except those like the FG event because you can't start this one from IS

I wish I could just queue for the third round, because (yes even though I've won it once) I keep going back and discovering more >B******T< that happens that causes somebody else who thought they were going to win... to actually win when it should have been me, and the other either won by sheer luck not knowing what even happened or how they got so far ahead... or 95% of the other time, im getting hit by something that I'm not even near (and this is even taking into account recognizing the server delay)... at this point I just want to queue for the third round, because having to suffer through the rest of the game is just too much time to spend to end up with a disappointing result and someone else's head inflated at the expense of mine, because I just KNOW they see me right ahead of them

I have noticed the server delay, both to my detriment and also benefit at times. Sometimes I avoid getting by stuff when I thought I should have. Other times I will get get by something I thought I was out of the range of and there stunned by.

For example, while not good or bad, when it came to delivering crystals in the 2nd stage for the yellow area, even if I thought like I was out of the aoe effect, I still get hit with the knockback at times even after a successful delivery.

An instance that was more bad, on the final stage, I would occassionally get by what I want to call "phantom hammers" when on the last stretch before the stairs to reach the goal line.

Meanwhile to my benefit I have noticed, that I could freely move after getting moved and stunned by one of the various spinning dials found in the first and third stage, and even use the temporary invincibility it provides you with to trudge through another hazard without getting hit by that. Kind of like damage boosting that could be found in speedruns. As usually the stun wears off fairly quick when forcibly moved somewhere.

I found it a very fun experience otherwise and already got most of the stuff I wanted that is unique to the event except for a couple clothing pieces.

You don't know if they had bad netcode aswell. Stay calm it's just a mediocre version of a game inside a game.
