    Played it a few times tonight, queues were instapopping on Ultros, so that was waaay better. The stuns/quick losses aren't nearly as bad when you can immediately get back into a new round. I'm now able to consistently leave the duty right after I get my reward so that's good to.

    Still get frustrated with the spinnning avoiding the back and forth thingies, but that's on me to git gud. I think the best way to do it is to get 410+ MGF, buy one reward, and call it a night. That's what I'll be doing on weekdays at least.

    I mean you said it yourself, you were probably behind him on his screen. The jump forward is the snapback people are talking about.
    It sucks that it looks like you should've won but didn't but that doesn't mean they cheated. It's just poor netcode.
    I don't think you understand. Let's ignore the game mode for a second and just visualize 2 players running in a straight line. They both start running at the same time. On P1's screen P1 is ahead and on P2's screen P2 is ahead. On the server though they are both running side by side at the same speed. There is no way for P1 to pass P2 on P2's screen, and no way for P2 to pass P1 on P1's screen. The only way that can happen is if one of them is moving faster than the other. No matter how bad the netcode is, if we're running together at the same speed, then the distance we see the other one behind on our individual screens should stay the same. But he passed me, he went from being behind me to steadily being in front of me. It wasn't a snapshot at the end of round. It was as we were running up the mountain, he overtook me. That means he was running faster than me which isn't possible in this game mode. And my original exposure to this cheating was someone else that made it up the mountain WAY faster than possible. People are definitely cheating at this already whether you want to believe it or not. Just like they cheat at PvP. If there is a way to show off that you won something, there are going to be bad actors at play that cheat the system to try to look good.

    I think the big issue there is we have no cast bars or anything to truly identify when the obstacle actually goes off.
    Like on the crystal map, in the red/yellow route, the pillars who shoot you up seem to cast wayyyyy before it actually goes off on screen.

    Combination of bad netcode and the abilities going off at cast make this feel so much worst then it should be.
    That red route actually knocked me two steps from the finish line with a fist that launched WAY behind me.

    Yes because the ninja flip makes it easier for me to see the platforms I'm jumping to and that only happens with blades out.

    Considering how tedious the 100 wins titles is, it wouldn't surprise me at all if people were resorting to hacks to try to make it go faster and I've definitely seen some people who are pulling way too far ahead in the early parts of a stage (IE, fast enough to pass the first movement of an obstacle everyone else needs to pause to not get hit by) for it to simply be attributed to inefficient movement on everyone else's end.

    The third stage also just feels...actively unfun because of how janky the snapshots are compared to everywhere else.

    From what people are reporting the snapshot happens when the previous exaflare visually hits the ground. The visual on these aoes seems to be behind by exactly one explosion. It's very bad. There is a popular clip with someone getting even further away from the explosion and still get hit.

    You'd have to dodge further left into where the third AoE landed since the snapshots from the cannonballs seem to happen almost immediately after the previous one in the sequence lands.

    Dodge into the left aoe before the right one.

    Yeah, at least my brain tells me that but between not having a single room of error, praying I do not get screwed by something else or players going turbo mode, that is hard lol

    I've also noticed I'm routinely getting stunned in place by...something on the survival course where you're running in a circle.

    It always seems to happen when the new obstacles are spawning in after a lap is completed so I'm assuming it's related to that, though the why of it eludes me.
