Pretty much this really, it's RNG which obstacle you can go through and which one will hit you 5 seconds later out of nowhereThis has been one of the most infuriating experiences for me. It makes me wonder what the $15 a month is for when you can make it 5-6 steps past an obstacle and the game just feels like it will hit you because...poor net code? Other times, I walk right into things and the game doesn't even care.
I think the big issue there is we have no cast bars or anything to truly identify when the obstacle actually goes off.
Like on the crystal map, in the red/yellow route, the pillars who shoot you up seem to cast wayyyyy before it actually goes off on screen.
Combination of bad netcode and the abilities going off at cast make this feel so much worst then it should be.
Naked lalafells should be reported. If it looks too much like CP it should not be allowed.
I don't know if this has something to do with your run but apparently ninjas are faster in there as they are outside of the eventPeople have got to be cheating already. I just had the most godsend RNG on my path in round 3 and someone on the other side somehow managed to win. I'm talking I didn't have to stop moving or deviate any more than necessary for the Yojimbo slashes and someone still beat me by a lot. They're speed hacking already as they've done in other PvE and PvP. There's no other way they could have beat me when I pretty much went in a straight line because they were on the other side. So since I wasn't dodging stuff, that meant they would have to be dodging stuff.
Did you get your weapons out before it started? Honestly could be imagination. They look faster
Hey Square since you copy FG so much why not just copy the business model? I want the same sub costs
More of my takes:
- First the colors are really bright and almost dizzing but hey it's the FG colors.
- I am a bit confused about the content intself. A recreation of FG? We didn't get recreations of other games. Beats a lame "Fall Guys Special Raid" imho. So all for that but... how where the FG people ok with this? Will FG player numbers drop during the event?
- I suck at the blue part of Saucery Siege. So i want to practiceNever get that 3 boxes thing for 2nd stage anymore... oh well
- I think i had a wintrader? Sadly i couldn't record it. Saw someone close to the exit at the end of round 1. I was just done with the course myself. They stop directly before the finish line. I thought "lol bad time for connection issues i guess" then someone goes past them. So far so normal. Then the standing person waves at them... wtf? I don't even know if wintrading is allowed at this casual mode but i am certainly suprised. Add that i only did a few rounds so...
- When i open the menue to leave while getting the disqualification it either works or, twice so far, i get loaded into the next stage as a viewer without the screen for it (as in i am directly in there) and then - a second later - i get out. One of those 2 times i got the result screen that was interrupted to get into the next stage and then get out... like wtf

Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
Monster hunter and FF15 are a couple examples of collabs that copied the other game.
The guy you think was win trading was prob just the new way for people to grief. Sit at the exit to give people false hope. Then just walk in whenever there's 1 spot left and someone is near the end.
Even with the poor netcode the game is fine. Until you get to the last one where there is no room for error, you either get first place or you may as well have just afk'd the entire 3rd match. Too many things can just come out of nowhere and hit you that you're nowhere near. There needs to be more obvious safe spots to slip between or something. At least in the previous events you can take your time and wait for the animation to start so you know you can beat it no matter what latency tries to do to you. But here in the spot with the yellow circles and yojimbo lines its just a mess. Especially when entering the area, and you got the yellow circles, the spinning wheel, and then the Yojimbo lines that all happen at once. Good luck figuring out what part of the latency lag you're at if you want to dodge it all.
I've only been in the third round as an observer, but I don't understand how you are supposed to watch out for the yellow bubbles dropping. I can see they're being fired from the cannons above the arena, but they're too high up to observe both that and the ground.
Meh, I think its jank dampens its overall experience. But I suppose I'll get better over the next couple months... if I choose to keep playing it. Kind of not feeling it though so far.
The yellow bubbles in the third round drop from left to right in rows.
I never had any interest in Fall Guys, and this event has guaranteed I never play it. I'm struggling to think of a time in which I've ever disliked a game as much as I dislike this one. A-Train on PS1 comes close, but this is legit Superman 64 level of garbage.
