    I understand the experience is probably a lot more fun for those with 100 ping but man... this is really miserable
    What infuriates me is that they literally knew about the shoddy netcode since like 1.0 . Anyone could’ve seen these issues coming a mile off based on literally the entire history of the game since OG release lol
    And still , like 10 years later, they’re making absolutely no effort to work around it or adapt the content to ensure that it remains consistent across all players. Like not even in terms of the code itself but in terms of like, duration of AoEs before detonation taking latency into account (making an AoE that detonates in 0.5 seconds is absolutely no good in a game with a 3 sec delay (tick) between player and server. But I guess that’s too much work for such a small indie dev team.

    Like I get that it’s an extremely difficult issue to solve but at the same time they could at least make an effort to ensure when content is added to the game it’s not going to be massively affected by the player’s location/ping/etc
