Besides being all somewhat going on about the voice for the new character Wuk Lamat which it doesn't bother me at all, moving forward onto new adventures for Dawntrail which im excited for, what memories in Endwalker you liked/disliked? it can be anything! mine is all the way from 6.0 to 6.55 and bout to relive the adventures once more on ng+ part 3 and part 4

I am actually kinda surprised by how excited I am for Dawntrail now. Don't get me wrong, I have been looking forward to it since it was announced, but both the last Fan Fest presentation and playing the 6.55 MSQ really got my curiosity sparked. Specifically, Wuk Lamat has got me looking forward to all the new characters we will meet, and this brand new land we know so little about. The reveal of Solution 9 also makes me curious about how this story may not be just the simple ‘beach episode’ some have touted it as. Hopefully we get the release date soon!

As for Endwalker, I really loved the whole MSQ quest, and the 6.X content (Even if I feel it could have been an expansion in its own right). That said, I think the thing I enjoyed most was the Pandæmonium raid story. Really loved that look into the Ancients, and Athena was a fantastic villian. Also some of the best music in the game.

Fantastic expansion. Great MSQ. Best video game story of all time. 6.1 to 6.5 is pretty good too. Great homage to FF4. 6.55 is a great setup for Dawntrail.

My favorite part in the whole expansion was the moment “Close in the Distance” started to play. That whole scene that preceded it and after was so heartfelt. I’ve never felt anything like that in a game before, so it’s sticks in my mind that whole sequence. The song itself is such an incredible piece of music that I still am not tired of it even when people complained about it. I love it. They finally added to Spotify and it’s in my playlist for me to listen anywhere I go. Thank you!

As someone who was severely critical of EW, I'm at least looking forward to what DT has to offer.

EW's endgame was MASSIVELY lacking, most of the non-high-tier were borderline braindead, and a lot of the story made little-to-no sense... not even getting into how poorly planned the expansions as a whole was, requiring retcons to even make sense to newer players joining the fray, but still, the DT angle so far has been nice. I'm especially looking forward to where the new culture and NPCs take us now that we're not in a "Britain but 3.0" area again, and we don't have to worry about massive meta stories effecting multiple zone.

It'll be nice, I think. But a lot of that depends on the writers, and I'm not 100% certain of their quality after the EW Post-MSQ. We'll see where it goes, I suppose.

I liked the part where uhhhhh I forgot what happened in EndWalker. I was too busy playing other games.

I loved the story at launch and also the later parts with Zero and everything Garlemald related. Both raid stories were interesting and I enjoyed doing savage in the PF. Empyreum and the goal of buying a mansion were big parts of the expansion for me and this is the most fun I've ever had with housing.

Now after the latest patch I can't wait for Dawntrail, femhroth and Viper!

what memories in Endwalker you liked/disliked?

Jumping from Eorzea to Sharlayan to Thavnair to Sharlayan to Garlemald to the Moon to Thavnair to Sharlayan to the First to [REDACTED] to Sharlayan to the edge of the Universe and end of all life...phew...ha...was what i diskliked.

I felt literally nothing as the kid in Thavnair was squashed or went afk for an hour next to a baby with super lungs underwater. Oh nooooo look all those elephant dudes you barely know turn into monsters! How horrible! Wish SE had given me time to actually care instead of rushing us across the multiverse to hunt a birb that had too much contact with twitter.

Also...Y'shtola...i hate her character by now. She is literally explaining every single situation like she is a self insert of the writers and thus has merged with the exposition itself. We try to puzzle a thing together and in the literally next scene she is like "OH YEAH BTW I KNOW ALL OF THAT ANCIENT COOL LORE ALREADY AND IT IS REALLY EASY LOL". Miss the time where we could actually theorize about the lore and plot instead of catmommy just giving us everything for free.

Then there was Zero and i wouldn't have any problem with that character if we hadn't gone through the "friendship and trust" trope for like the last 3 expansions plus ARR. Was literally Gaia, just switch the coffee cookies with buuds/curry lol.

But the worst of all is how they handled Zodiark/Hydaelyn and the endboss of it all. They hyped up Zodiark as the big bad strong evil just to throw him out in a weak plottwist of "Ascian wants to unsubscribe from life." And Hydaelyn which killed literally her whole race just got the "you get out of jail for free" card. And the Endsinger? Well i would've cared if they hadn't introduced it like 2 levels before the plot ends.

Now to what i liked! Visually the expansion was fairly nice and when it comes to glam i feel like SE just catered to me and me alone in EW. Also i really liked Garlemald as a zone i hope we rebuild a bit of it in the future.

Pandemonium had the best story, better than the MSQ. Especially the end of Pandemonium made me tear up a bit. Poor fella deserved truly another chance. p.p

And i am somewhat happy with the conclusion of the alliance raid. Wasn't as good as pandemonium and really predictable but it was really fun and i am glad the wanderer is still on the roads.

Also seeing all your past allies assemble for going to Garlemald was great. Loved that they brought in so many old characters. Still missed Riol tho.
