I haven't tested it yet but apparently ninja still has faster movement speed. Might be that.People have got to be cheating already. I just had the most godsend RNG on my path in round 3 and someone on the other side somehow managed to win. I'm talking I didn't have to stop moving or deviate any more than necessary for the Yojimbo slashes and someone still beat me by a lot. They're speed hacking already as they've done in other PvE and PvP. There's no other way they could have beat me when I pretty much went in a straight line because they were on the other side. So since I wasn't dodging stuff, that meant they would have to be dodging stuff.
I hate when PvE co-op games put cosmetics behind competetive events.
70 tries in and not one win.
Every game you're vs 3-6 players who do all the
mechanics perfectly. I got pretty good at round 1 but I can never win 2 and havent seen 3 yet.
Even tho I rarely fail mechanics I have to slow down sometimes to let things resolve. Meanwhile the few other players are gunning it towards the finish line at mach 10.
People are too good. No skill based matchmaking to give slower players a shot. Most matches I quit out after 1 mistake because its a near-guaranteed loss. (Especially on the whirling section).
Wish this had a solo option. So I could learn at my own pace.
Tl;dr im frustrated and salty.

You'll get to stage 3. Eventually you'll be getting to stage 3 consistently. Winning though, yup that's not easy. I managed two wins I think and that's only because I was put into a solo lobby.I hate when PvE co-op games put cosmetics behind competetive events.

My single, sole win was somehow getting put in a solo lobby. At least I got the achieve.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
I've seen it in action at this point people are definitely cheating. There's this elezen male that keeps winning and I've had him in several matches. He's not using the speed hack all the time though only at the end. One match in particular we were running together by netcode standards. He was behind me on my screen I was behind him on his screen probably. Then in the final push, he not only caught up to me on my screen but ran past me. That's not netcode. That's only possible if he was running faster than me. And I'm not talking about the teleport that happens at the end if the server thinks someone was ahead. I'm talking about just straight running. He overtook me and that's only possible with more speed not shitty netcode.

I am 1400 MGF away to have all Rewards, 4800 MGF is needed for all Stuff except Dyes & House Items. And my last round there i will fart the whole time, hope someone chokes on it. I will never Play Fall Guys ever again.
There's a gif with that exact same example in this thread. Yes it's netcode.I've seen it in action at this point people are definitely cheating. I mean you said it yourself, you were probably behind him on his screen. The jump forward is the snapback people are talking about.
It sucks that it looks like you should've won but didn't but that doesn't mean they cheated. It's just poor netcode.
I don't think you understand. Let's ignore the game mode for a second and just visualize 2 players running in a straight line. They both start running at the same time. On P1's screen P1 is ahead and on P2's screen P2 is ahead. On the server though they are both running side by side at the same speed. There is no way for P1 to pass P2 on P2's screen, and no way for P2 to pass P1 on P1's screen. The only way that can happen is if one of them is moving faster than the other. No matter how bad the netcode is, if we're running together at the same speed, then the distance we see the other one behind on our individual screens should stay the same. But he passed me, he went from being behind me to steadily being in front of me. It wasn't a snapshot at the end of round. It was as we were running up the mountain, he overtook me. That means he was running faster than me which isn't possible in this game mode. And my original exposure to this cheating was someone else that made it up the mountain WAY faster than possible. People are definitely cheating at this already whether you want to believe it or not. Just like they cheat at PvP. If there is a way to show off that you won something, there are going to be bad actors at play that cheat the system to try to look good. There's a gif with that exact same example in this thread. Yes it's netcode.

I agree. The netcode in this game sucks. This was more focused on people who blame the netcode for them sucking.
