I've seen it in action at this point people are definitely cheating. There's this elezen male that keeps winning and I've had him in several matches. He's not using the speed hack all the time though only at the end. One match in particular we were running together by netcode standards. He was behind me on my screen I was behind him on his screen probably. Then in the final push, he not only caught up to me on my screen but ran past me. That's not netcode. That's only possible if he was running faster than me. And I'm not talking about the teleport that happens at the end if the server thinks someone was ahead. I'm talking about just straight running. He overtook me and that's only possible with more speed not shitty netcode.

I am 1400 MGF away to have all Rewards, 4800 MGF is needed for all Stuff except Dyes & House Items. And my last round there i will fart the whole time, hope someone chokes on it. I will never Play Fall Guys ever again.

There's a gif with that exact same example in this thread. Yes it's netcode.

I mean you said it yourself, you were probably behind him on his screen. The jump forward is the snapback people are talking about.
It sucks that it looks like you should've won but didn't but that doesn't mean they cheated. It's just poor netcode.

For all those who say they can't make it past round 1 and they blame the ping. Learn, overcome, adapt.
It's just figuring out patterns then playing safe due to risk of snapback. But that's nothing new in this game.

The netcode does suck for this I agree. But it's not the reason why you're losing. I mean I make it to round 3 in the majority of my matches fairly easily yet I'm playing with the same netcode.

I agree. The netcode in this game sucks. This was more focused on people who blame the netcode for them sucking.

I've got everything I wanted. Will probably run on and off, to horde some dyes. Net code and hit boxes aside, it's a fun event and something a little different. Better than most of the other patch content we have received.

is there a way to leave if you drop out early without havinc to watch load screen and cutscene?

ASAP as the round ends (or you get eliminated) open the duty menu (U by default), click leave, and click yes under the Fall guys UI. It skips you directly to the results screen

Sounds like the typical delay and poor performance when I play from LATAM, you can finally feel my pain.

Other than that I got all I wanted in like under an hour so I'm not really bothered. I still played a little more today just for the fun of it, beats unlocking the variant dungeon.

This has been one of the most infuriating experiences for me. It makes me wonder what the $15 a month is for when you can make it 5-6 steps past an obstacle and the game just feels like it will hit you because...poor net code? Other times, I walk right into things and the game doesn't even care.

it's this kind of event that shows you how urgent it is for the devs to fix this damn netcode...
