What Gear should get the Replica Sky Pirate Treatment?

... by which I mean, given Replica versions with no level or Role restrictions. Ideally I would rather they just removed those across the board (voice your support here if think so too) but the way the devs do things (at a snail's pace...), this is the more likely outcome... though nothing seems to suggest they intend on ever doing this again, either... Every patch I waited, but although we eventually did get Replica versions of High(?) Allagan and LotA gear, their Role restrictions remained...

... but, well, anyway! What immediately come to mind to me are the Skallic and Yorha sets, by virtue of their designs being fairly homogeneous across Roles i.e. none are that much more armoured than others (if they are at all)






By the same token, the more recent Asphodelos and Lunar Envoy gear should also qualify...!

Gordian sets! The Prestige dyeable LotA PVP sets. The Ivalice raid sets.

Honestly nothing.
Just remove all role restrictions on gear for use with glamour prisms (except job AF gear)
Rather they focus on doing that personally
But for the sake of the topic: the eden raid gear

The Shire gear. Aside from the custodian (fending) and pathfinder (maiming) sets they're all unarmored. They've kinda set the precedent that these sets are common Sharlayan attire so them being everyday wear would make sense; and apparently the art team liked these sets so much they've reused them for gear twice now. Anamnesis Anyder gear and level 82 combat gear.

But also agree in remove the glamour restriction in general. This method is just not sustainable long term, the game will end up with far too much wasted space for stuff that is useless.

Oh yeah, those are definitely a good candidate for this sort of thing, they're quite popular already (understandable, they're quite nice!) and I imagine they would be even more so as unrestricted Glamour items!

Hah, Gordian sets occupy the opposite extreme in that they're all armoured. But, honestly, if the PVP Series rewards are fair game, why shouldn't these be also?

Yeah, you and me both...
Eden gear is a bit dicey because some are definitely more armoured than others... though in some cases the design distribution is a bit bizarre, too, like in the case of the Striking-Healer dress...

I actually was thinking about Shire gear not too long ago! Fending/Maiming sets aside, there's some really nice gloves, pants and boots that I think would be great to have available as Glamour gear...

And, yeah, for sure. Creating duplicates is far from efficient, and I had kind of hoped that their figuring out how to conditionally restrict dyeing on the EW AF gear without resorting to that would herald them managing to distinguish Glamouring from equipping gear as the game's code goes, but... nothing so far on that front, I don't think...

Yeah, Warg's another good one. It's interesting they've yet to reuse it in any capacity, though I could see it make a reappearance in Dawntrail? Looks like it'd be a good fit given what we've seen of Tural's culture so far
