Please stop hiding miqo'te ears (and other races') from certain head gear

I don't want an ear toggle, but I still wouldn't mind a tail toggle... Let me hide my tail under a cape rather than poking it through it.

The newest headgear addition to the online store does not show miqo'te ears and the description mentions that it won't display for viera or hrothgar (perhaps this will change in 7.3 for viera).

Yeah, and Miqo'te heads can look absolutely ridiculous with big hats because the ears being hidden means they can't "outbalance" the fact that the hat easily protrudes like two inches from your character's hair.

I would sincerely love for my ears to be visible more often. There are a few hats I absolutely love, but I can't stand the way my ears vanish or we get those weird ear protrusions that look ridiculous.

One thing that I hate more about miqo'te ears not showing on headwear that could have holes is the stupid 'ear pockets'.

One particular glam that I really like is Firion's bandana, but it's horrible on a miqo'te because of those pockets that won't even match your ear's size.

I'm on opposite side: i like that the ears are tucked into the hat and don't clip through. I even prefer that over proper holes for the ears as they defeat the purpose of protecting the head from heat or rain.

In fact, i even wanna go as far as hiding the tail clipping through gear unless it's properly tucked under dresses. Unless pants or shorts have actual proper tailored orifice for the tail like a lot of the 1.0 gear has i'd rather it hide instead of clip. And dresses/skirts should just have the tail go under them.

I mean, you do you, but the reason why it makes no reason for Miqo'te ears to be tucked in is that they're cat ears. Functional cat ears, even. Also, they wiggle during emotes.

I think most of us agree that showing the ears pop up directly through a hole is more desirable than the ear socks.

In the event in which this isn't possible or logical, ear socks can be considered and on a case by case basis. Additionally, they can always just give us a toggle to show or hide both ears and socks to satisfy everyone.

What is not acceptable is the total lack of care for several years now when it comes to ears and tails.

Oh, I adore ear socks, but I 100% think it should be a case-by-case basis. For example, I think they look great on the Dravanian Tricorne model!



But holes are absolutely preferable for things like the straw hats.



But I strongly believe that either option is better than my ears disappearing altogether, and I'd be willing to take holes over ear socks on headwear going forward if that's the majority opinion.
