We need cross datacenter grouping asap.

Is it sad how normal that is. As a rule, you don't even que for that one. We tried a few times to get a roulette going through the party finder. I know we did it once that I was a part of.
But yeah, memes aside Dynamis is absolutely dead.
"You haven't proven that it is safe, you've (only) proved that you can't figure out how it's dangerous."
People only go on Dynamis for housing and maybe for the Road to 80 buff and then go to the other Data Centers to do content. I have an alt on one of the servers there and the fact even Limsa feels dead is not very good. I doubt that much will change unless they heavily push it when the Xbox players are here. (And by that I mean give them more rewards then the exp buff and the 1 million gil when you get to level 30)
I mean 90% of people are DC travelling to Aether or other DC's so I'm not sure why this is a surprise, the same will happen when Xbox players join Dynamis (lol as if they will, why would they join a dead DC ?), they'll all go to Aether for fast queues and groups, which means there will be 0 improvement to Dynamis's actual population that stays on Dynamis and doesnt dc travel 24 7.People only go on Dynamis for housing and maybe for the Road to 80 buff and then go to the other Data Centers to do content. I guarantee you Dynamis will have a population that far exceeds your expectations when the expansion drops. Sorry to burst your little bubble of doom and gloom.I mean 90% of people are DC travelling to Aether or other DC's so I'm not sure why this is a surprise, the same will happen when Xbox players join Dynamis (lol as if they will, why would they join a dead DC ?), they'll all go to Aether for fast queues and groups, which means there will be 0 improvement to Dynamis's actual population that stays on Dynamis and doesnt dc travel 24 7.
I don't think anyone WANTS you to be wrong, in fact, we'll probably be glad that the game is doing really well enough to fill Dynamis. I know I would be.
Maybe. But its not going to fix the entire dc travel for every single bit of high end content thing. That actually killed Crystal and Primal.
I still think the cross-dc PF system is needed, even if dynamis grows on its own.
Yes I too go on the absolute lowest population server when I start a new game knowing I won't even be able to queue for anything at all and struggle to make friends because 90% of the already small DC is DC traveling.
Get real.
Also yes maybe on expansion drop there will be quite a lot more, and what when the numbers fall off ? That's normal for mmo's, be it ffxiv or wow, big peak on expansion release then massive drop back to normal/stable numbers.
That will depend on what status SE assigns the other NA worlds and whether they leave data center travel enabled to all worlds.
The average number of active level 90 characters on each Dynamis world (11,600) already exceeds the average number of active level 90 characters on each JP world (10,750) per the latest LB census but that does little good if they're all using data center travel to play on the other data centers. Dynamis is already at a disadvantage with just 4 worlds so that halves the overall population compared to other data centers.
Things would be a lot better on Dynamis if players with Dynamis characters stayed on Dynamis to do content with other Dynamis players instead of heading to Aether like so much of NA does.
