Yeah I've heard similar things through the grapevine but I can't seem to find an answer to if it's a bug or not.

I've done all the MSQ Roulette reworked duties.
I have also gone through my entire duty list making sure everything's got that little green checkmark (not to mention the painstaking cross-referencing with the wikis to make sure I'm not missing some optional duty).

And yeah I can confirm I certified my Mentor status before I cleared all roulette pre-reqs.
I doubt it matters but what I was missing after becoming a mentor was
  • The Great Hunt (Extreme)
  • The Jade Stoa (Extreme)
  • Memoria Misera (Extreme)
  • The Seat of Sacrifice (Extreme)
All of which have since been cleared.
