Mentor Roulette bugged?

I've done some poking around, and haven't found another thread on it, so I thought I'd make my own.

Recently started ticking all the Mentor boxes, hoping to give back to the community a bit. I attained Mentor status. I check the wikis for a comprehensive list of duties needing to be fulfilled, and I can confirm, quintuple-checked, I've cleared the following duties:

• Every single dungeon in the game
• Every single Trial in the game
• Every single Extreme Trial (ARR-Shb)
• Every single Full Party- and Alliance Raid
• Every single Guildhest

By all accounts I can find, Mentor Roulette should be popping up in my Duty list, but it just doesn't. It's not even just there with a lock on it, listing duties I'm missing or an ilvl target like other duties. It's simply not even in the list.

Again, I've cross-referenced my duty list many times over by now, all prereqs are cleared.

Is this a bug? Have I misunderstood something about the system? I'm tearing my hair out on this one.

I think I remember seeing a known issues lodestone post about mentor roulette not showing in the list once you have unlocked mentor but before you cleared all duties required.
Have you cleared praetorium and porta decumana after they were reworked?

Yeah I've heard similar things through the grapevine but I can't seem to find an answer to if it's a bug or not.

I've done all the MSQ Roulette reworked duties.
I have also gone through my entire duty list making sure everything's got that little green checkmark (not to mention the painstaking cross-referencing with the wikis to make sure I'm not missing some optional duty).

And yeah I can confirm I certified my Mentor status before I cleared all roulette pre-reqs.
I doubt it matters but what I was missing after becoming a mentor was

• The Great Hunt (Extreme)
• The Jade Stoa (Extreme)
• Memoria Misera (Extreme)
• The Seat of Sacrifice (Extreme)

All of which have since been cleared.

I dont have any other ideas about obscure duties missing (I assume you have done the new patch content) but hopefully 6.51 will unhide it again. Then you should be able to see which duty it is.

edit: I have one more angle shoot. Is your ilvl high enough on the job you want to queue on? Wiki says 625 minimum.

Yeah no new duties that are not yet cleared, and I'm sitting at a comfortable 654ilvl (I've tried reloading the window while having the appropriate job equipped etc. All venues feel explored. At this point my only hope really is 6.51

Just to be clear: You have combat mentor status right? Not just crafting mentor? Crafting mentors aren't allowed into DR:Mentor.

If you have combat mentor status and everything in your DF is green checkmarked then there must be something you haven't unlocked.

Barring any mistakes in my transcription that should be everything in the order it's listed in DF so it's easier to see where a duty is missing.

Normally, when you have battle mentor status on a character, the roulette would still show up in your duties list but you would be locked out if you didn’t meet all the conditions (like missing an ex or iLvl) and it would tell you which ones(s) specifically.

Edit: looking at your character sheet on the Lodestone shows that you have not completed the “More than Fear” achievement (range -magical dps job quest) . So, it looks like you do not have battle mentor status yet. Complete that achievement and go talk to the Smith.

Try visiting one of the Smiths to make certain you don't need to re-register as a Mentor since it sounds like a little time has passed since you first certified. Whatever glitch is happening might have affected your status as a Mentor in the system.

It sounds like you are missing the mentor status all together and need to obtain it by talking to the Smiths "Big green leaf symbol" should be in the 3 city states., Gridania's is by the inn.

Before talking to the Smith, OP needs to complete the lvl 90 Magical range dps job quest as already explained.
