Learning to forgive the Garleans for the atrocities commited against Enki's homeland (ala Ala Mhigo), and seeing past the Ivory Standard and learning to seperate the terms 'Imperial' and 'Garlean', helped by Cid and the Ironworks, and accordingly act more concilatory towards the Empire, Garlemald and it's people, instead of responding to them belligerently.
And the realisation in EW that Garlemald and Ala Mhigo were really not that different - both nations of people shunned or harrassed by their surrounding nations that learned to adapt and thrive in a hostile environment by making the best of the resources provided, and both had a technological edge (apparently an old bit of lore stated Ala Mhigo was "the most technologically advanced of the six Eorzean city states"), and both had been basically ruined by civil strife leading to it's destruction, finally shook her out of her ignorant "the only good Garlean is a dead Garlean", and that she was determined to make Eorzea filled with lots of "good Garleans" belief - a rather stupid and bloodthirsty attitude that she's now deeply ashamed and embarrased of and wants to make amends for.
Except Zenos. Even at the end to her he was just a rabid monster that needed to be put down for everyone's benefit...

Do you ever write about character or think of some of the things they go through? This is but a simple headcanon thread :3
Oh yeah definitely. Crafting all the arms for each and every crafter has to be the least favorite part of gearing up crafters(that is, before I began to use scripts to buy em'). I had to make a checklist just so that I could see what I have done and when needs to be made.
It has been a while since I've done the Tower of Zot. What was the hardest part of it for you?
can be! Or simply headcanons you have about your character(s)! i haven't roleplayed with my ffxiv characters in year ^^
The 3 magus sisters at the end, just those. It took me longer to learn how to get through their mechanics than most other stuff.
WHM / BLM / SMN / NIN/ DNC / Omnicrafter and Gatherer

Trying not to picture how Ryne looks without a dress was a monumental task.

ah- I don't think I leveled the island sanctuary very much on my main account
sounds like he had a lot stacked against him but at least he can relax a little! what might happen were he to visit Ishgard again?Vencio was officially ex communicated from the Holy See’s Templar Knights organization due to being dishonourably charged, branded as a heretic & traitor. (Before & during HW events..)
Charges:
Conspiracy , Desertion, Occult practices & treason.
Truth:
(Conspiracy/ Treason) Vencio attempted to present evidence of corruption & crimes that involved the organization to his superiors (unawares to him they too were part of it..a great mistake.)
(Desertion) Vencio never abandoned his military outpost (undisclosed location elsewhere in Coerthas) instead he designated a temporal Templar Captain (one who sold him out to his superiors) to oversee it whilst Vencio initiated a rescue expedition in the search of 2 missing Templars & a family (rumoured to have been taken captive by the pale lady frost.)
(Occult Practices) Far from the truth, Vencio is agnostic & never directly engaged on religious practices except for Templar’s ceremonial purposes. Albeit he revered Halone on a certain level of respect he often question the nature of this deity’s righteous fervor which enfeebled most Ishgardians to be blindy proud & lack foresight. (This minor detail is what further lead to his false arrest).
Ultimately Vencio’s altruistic actions created more harm than good & often backfired which left him beyond shattered while looking back in the past how he dreamt of being a Templar Knight throughout his youth & the ceremonial Templar celebration before his family’s & commoners’s presence with great joy.
Currently his charges were dismissed (in the end of HW’s events & pre Stormblood’s) thanks to the Adventurer’s Guild intervention. Even then, he’s still conflicted upon visiting Ishgard from time to time & yet is delighted to being an official member of the Adventurer’s guild as an Adventurer….a knight of the realm (Eorzea).
congrats! What was the house size?
yeah I remember that test. I mean I kinda get why the test the way it is? But I feel like if I were an adventurer looking to kill a god I would train in killing gods rather than go on a glorified fetch quest (at least in terms of what it would accomplish).my dwarf xarott has difficulties keeping herself back when people pet her head. sometimes she slaps them, but sometimes she succeds in not slapping those naughty people.

yeah, no one need to forgive Zenos.Learning to forgive the Garleans for the atrocities commited against Enki's homeland (ala Ala Mhigo), and seeing past the Ivory Standard and learning to seperate the terms 'Imperial' and 'Garlean', helped by Cid and the Ironworks, and accordingly act more concilatory towards the Empire, Garlemald and it's people, instead of responding to them belligerently.

Except Zenos. Even at the end to her he was just a rabid monster that needed to be put down for everyone's benefit...Honestly yeah good riddance. He was a fun character by the end but I can only imagine the WoL finally relaxing knowing that he will no longer lurk to try and piss them off further just for another fight. This was probably the way zenos want to go out anyways
ooh yeah I remember those! Eliminating one definitely makes the fight easier since it is two left.

I love the men in this game
I finally return to the game! Current goal: getting all my jobs to 90
Proceeding through the game as if I'd completely 100% forgiven genocidal/omnicidal villains (Yotsuyu, Gaius, Emet-Selch, Venat), with the story providing little justification for it except for "Oh no, they're hot."

I understand this feeling. Though, I am replaying the game so I have yet to fully get my thoughts in order (I mean there has to be details I miss on my first playthrough).
