    I have no idea what a Fall Guys is, and I don't plan to learn now.

    Haven't decided if I care enough to go for any of the rewards. Guess I'll see how the event works and decide then if I can be bothered.

    i am alittle sad it seems i wont be able to farm mgp through it but i feel i am excited to see it will be a different form of moogle tomes. as its will be reshowing up kinda like the moogle tome event.

    * After the initial collaboration event has ended, it will be held as a special event at irregular intervals.

    this implies it wont be a regular schedule and that is on the event site.

    I believe Yoshi-P explained it during the EU fanfest. The Fall Guys creators like FFXIV and they reached out to Yoshi-P. Yoshi-P was interested because he thought it would be fun and the discussions began from there.
