Furniture glitch - Help

Afternoon everyone,

Would anyone have a guide, youtube video and/or able to provide steps for sinking furniture down the floor?

I am a Ps5 console player & attempting to lower the marble partition down the floor to design a certain flooring of my own.

Any guide would truly much appreciate!

There currently is no way to sink furniture down into the floor without using a third party tool. Perhaps someday SE will update the housing system to give us a better placement tool for all players.

You can’t sink into the floor, but if you have a house of any size, you can float things up from the basement. Unfortunately like Jojoya said, there’s no way to do that in apartments or FC rooms without 3PT.

For floating techniques, Shei Cloudbank (not sure on the spelling) has a ton of YouTube videos that might help.

You can’t sink partitions but you can sink wall decos, beams, lofts and tabletops (anything you can attach to a partition or put on a loft). All you need is a partition (stage panel works wonders) and at least 2 wooden beams and, for tabletops, a loft attached to the beams. I did that with the Demon wall to make a ledge. The top of the demon wall looks a bit like white marble (though it is thinner and smaller than the marble partition). Depending on what you are trying to do, it might work as an alternative for you too.

Well....technically you could raise it in the floor below and then do it that way.
