That's not going to change anything there are still rewards that can only be gotten by getting the PVP currency, so people will still join for that.

Frontlines Xp is a big thing to speed up levelling of some jobs you want to spend less time on. At this point the only somewhat relevant things for me to buy with pvp currency are consumables which I can also get elsewhere ( ventures, rationing manuals, glamour prisms for the fc, dark matter for repair).
