    Remove EXP from Frontline

    It’s already challenging having to deal with premades, balance issues, server issues and lacking map layout “looking at you new Shattering with 0 downtime”. But the one thing that bothers me the most is the “I’m only here for the exp reward” teammates.

    Seriously it’s really annoying when half of the alliance are hitting small ice rocks on top of the hill only to get easily baited by Monks and Samurais or are just straight up AFK. Sometimes When you try to lead the alliance by pointing out there’s a big node/ice that we should really go for, they feel the need to announce how “they don’t care or how they’re imagining even trying lmao lol haha” and just kill the morale of the people who are actually trying to play the supposed cooperative mode properly.

    Some might say that, Frontline will be dead without the roulette reward, and I get that the EXP is there to encourage new players to do this kind of content. You’d be surprised of how many people who actually enjoy doing frontlines all day be it solo or with friends, and i admit I’m a bit of a sweat in frontlines but let’s be real if the the new players aren’t engaged with at least 5-10 games of Frontline they’ll never will and will always be AFK/grieving

    Idk maybe Split the EXP to other roulettes, add new unique rewards for frontline like Glamours, materials, titles or whatever. Just spare us the disappointment of putting in the effort for nothing during a 20 minutes match.

    Triple the exp reward for 1st place, make it x1.5 for 2nd place.

    You don't incentivize people to play better by removing exp, all you do is remove people with it. Removing the EXP this late after it got added as a measure to encourage Frontlines would be a terrible decision.

    There’s already rewarding achievements for players to get, especially for players who are here for completionism, more rewards instead of EXP would give more reason to do Frontline properly. Running around mindlessly or just doing nothing more than hitting small rocks (which roughly 4 players are enough for) makes it harder for other people to get their achievements.

    It is true that it’s pretty risky to remove the EXP at this point, but that’s for a better quality Frontline experience overall imo.

    There are winning bonus xp, But the amount is just too small. Doing frontline itself gives xp besides the roulette daily reward, And you get more for winning.

    If half your teammates are only there for the rewards, that's the amount of people who won't be queuing if you remove the extrinsic rewards. So queue times would roughly double. And then of course, there would likely be some amount of players who genuinely enjoy PvP intrinsically who no longer queue because those increased queue times aren't worth the hassle to them. Queue times could become pretty nasty.

    There's no meaningful difference between the rewards you listed and EXP; it's all just extrinsic rewards, and all of it will attract players who are only PvPing for those rewards.

    You'd probably want to add the same modifiers to PvP currency rewards as well, since not everyone is there for the EXP.

    Personally, I 100% agree. Frankly, some will be worried or even complain about a too wide gap in rewards between winning and losing, which is 'supposedly' discouraging lesser skilled players.

    Don't worry, even if it was directed at me I wouldn't notice it because I am confident in my ability to PvP^^

    But yeah... really tired of the "everyone is a winner" mentality. If you are not good, either improve or don't your choice, but don't complain that someone who is good gets more.

    I agree for the first place. I disagree for the second. Second place is already farming the third place and don't pay attention to the first far too many times. giving 1.5 would make that even worst. You have to give player incentives to go for the win, not to farm the ones that are already behind. Do the same with the tome rewards, for people that are already max lvl with every class.

    meh I don’t think it would change anything. When you are max level in everything, the only tomes you care about are the latest tomestones (comedy atm) and they have a weekly cap that is hit in no time. All tomes are also very easy to get from other activities. Even if you triple the amount for 1st place, there would be more efficient ways to get them than frontlines. However, Frontlines XP when leveling is quite generous and you can apply it to any lvl 30+ job which is useful to level up jobs you don’t really care about or until a job reaches a level where it is fun to play.

    Apart from an extra XP incentive for winning, I would remove BH as it makes no sense: your team is crushing the enemy and now with BH you can crush them and demoralize them even faster. That also sometimes pushes the 2nd group to go farm the third group.

    One other thing they could do is something similar to Malmstones series but strictly tied to frontlines wins. There are already some Frontlines achievements tied to wins that offer some rewards but they are limited and very much apart and may seem so far away and out of reach to new players and those who only do their daily to the point that they don’t even try (a comment I’ve heard several times when telling people about achievement mounts). There could be series rewards tied to smaller gaps between rewards such as 10-30-50 wins (or even 10-20-30) that are renewed periodically like Malmstones so people also feel like they need to put an effort to get them before they go away.
