    The game also needs to make Vote Kicking a bit more accessible. It's kinda hidden in the UI. There's plenty of matches where I'd vote to kick very inactive players if it wasn't a waste of time to try and find where it is (sin
    ce I don't do it very often anyways). It should be an option under right clicking a player in your party. This has likely not been done due to a projected increase in requests - they don't have the team to even handle the current requests. So the real request for SE is going to be improving PVP support requests (low chance, I absolutely agree though).

    I do hope this gets fixed. I'd rather wait 15 minutes for a good and competitive FL match than 2-3 minutes and risk getting on extremely passive teams.
    See my comments, I agree with wanting active participation, and it should be achievable with some support from Square. However I believe that unless it's handled very carefully the 15 minutes that you're providing could be much longer.

    You know there are even some things that Square should be able to handle on it's end, given that they have the metrics (as do we) at the end of a match.

    I'm willing to bet good money if you removed experience entirely you would have 60+ minute wait times as there aren't enough "pure" pvpers to fill that 72 person match requirement on most days.

    During the times we had no roulette and no experience from frontlines it was common to wait 1-2+ hours per match during primetime, and back then the game would force itself to pop at 8v8v8 and 16v16v16 instead of waiting for a full 72.

    Providing less experience /tomes also won't really change anything, even when experience was lower all it did was mean more people used bots because they didn't want to be there actively grinding.

    There isn't really a fix for this issue. Some people don't want to play and won't take the game seriously no matter what you do, you can remove them from the queue sure and that would increase the quality of games. But the cost of doing that is that you get long wait times even during primetime. These long wait times will then cause the real pvpers to feel like its a waste of time and won't sit there for over an hour just for that quality game.

    There was a 4v4 before Feast as well. It was just so bad that it was removed very quickly.

    The Feast was in the game for almost 6 years, I wouldn't call that "removed quickly".

    Frontlines Xp is a big thing to speed up levelling of some jobs you want to spend less time on. At this point the only somewhat relevant things for me to buy with pvp currency are consumables which I can also get elsewhere ( ventures, rationing manuals, glamour prisms for the fc, dark matter for repair).

    Let's be honest, no matter how valid your argument is about people joining just for experience without actually contributing (or actively letting themselves be killed), nothing can really be done about it without it being some sort of scorched-earth solution. At best, they could only possibly nerf 3rd place exp but significantly buff 1st place to actually be enticing to put an effort (y'know, effort like watching your maps and score, and knowing wtf Undead Redemption and Hallowed Ground icons on enemies are- just saw a MCH blow their LB on a PLD who had his LB active for like 4-5 seconds already, SMH) to win.

    But really, since these sort of issues don't really happen on the JP side of things, and their players actually have an incentive to be there outside of "I'm just here for the exp;" they absolutely will not nerf exp to penalize them just because we have the lowest-common denominator players on our side of the puddle that will actively be a detriment to their entire team so long as it means they get their daily exp faster.

    Been here since the beta and it has never been more than the mess it is now. The only time it was somewhat competitive was when it was locked to GC membership but only for Maelstrom. Boy those were some terrible times.
