Game Thinks Monitor Is 1600x900

Scrolling through a lot of posts about the Borderless Window setting to find answers to my problem and nothing. It did help me realize what the real problem has been all along: The game is thinking that both my monitors are 1600 x 900. It's something I noticed but never seemed to have it click that that's what my resolution in-game has been.

It shouldn't be defaulting to that. Every setting I've checked for my monitor and graphics card have confirmed that I'm suppose to be hitting 1920x1080. Does anyone else have experience with this and know if there is something I'm missing?

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Please try the following:
- Disable Full Screen Optimizations. To disable this, please find the "ffxiv_dx11.exe" and right click it and select properties. Then under the compatibility tab there will be a check box labeled "Disable Full Screen Optimizations". Check it and click apply.
- Switch between Fullscreen mode and Borderless Windowed mode.
- When trying to change the resolution, please try manually inputting the resolution via the custom resolution option rather than selecting a preset.
