I can see it as a preorder bonus. Otherwise I don't see SE leaving this much money on the table by giving everyone a free fantasia. It is their #1 seller of all time.

Still, it would make sense as the graphics update will change how characters look to some degree. Anyway, I still have my free fantasia on all my characters, never used it so I am ready.

I doubt they would give us a fantasia just because of the graphics update. And to be honest I struggle to see the difference before and after from the slides they have shown us.
I do see a chance of getting one if female hrotgar is actually coming with 7.0 . They did give us one with au ra and viera. (or am i wrong here?)

Yeah - I'd have thought that'd be a bigger factor in them giving out a free fantasia.

I'd say this is justified much more than for the release of a race.
We won't be having an option to "downgrade" our graphics after the expansion, so any change to our characters -without considering our self vanity- won't be in our control.

If not a fantasia, at least unlock the character customization for the first/main character of all accounts, you know, the one on top of the list. So you don't have to actually send Fantasia items or anything. And it doesn't have to be for all characters either: That would surely hurt sales.

But in any case, we should be getting a Fantasia or the customization options just for the graphical update alone. For at least one character, the main character/first on the list.

It would be nice to be able to include a free fantasia with the expansion considering how much characters might end up being changed, like with eye shape etc. I might end up having to change my miqo's eyes whenever that happens since the lashes look a bit different to me with what the previews they've shown us so far are anything to go off of, lol

I have a feeling they might give a free fantasia to everyone, the reason I say this is because they know some players might feel their character has changed. After playing for so long I do feel they would do this and try keep players happy.
