Unable to make new characters on any server

If you're receiving this system prompt then this could mean that despite not having a total of 8 characters on the specific server, the account in question may already have a total of 40 characters on the Physical Data Center. If this could be the case then that would simply mean that the account has reached its limit of possible characters and as per the error prompt you've received it will require that you delete a character to open up an available slot.

So as an example if you are trying to create a character on the North American Data Center (Physical Data Center) on Aether (Logical Data Center) and the specific server Siren (World) but are getting this prompt, this could mean that you currently have a total of 40 characters spread between all the Logical Data Centers (Aether, Crystal, Dynamis and Primal) which are all under 1 Physical Data Center which is the North American Data Center. As per the standard subscription an account can have a total of 40 Characters per Physical Data Center.

I did a count and I do have 40 characters across the NA data center. Thanks for that clarification!

The problem is fixed thanks so much for your help Eenkalzet!!! The error was user error. I did not know that the character limit was 40 Characters per Physical data center. I thought it was 40 characters per each server. When I went through all 4 na and deleted a few characters the problem is resolved. Thank you so much and so sorry to bother the forum about this due to my misunderstanding. Live and Learn I guess I appreciate your help and thanks again.
