Next Limited Job better not take the crossbow weapon

I swear, if its beastmaster, and we never get a full crossbow job because of it, I will be sad. I want a full on ranged crossbow job that can go into regular combat.

There MIGHT be an exception though. There is a difference between a light crossbow and a heavy crossbow. They could reserve one for beastmaster and one for an extra job. Weight class absolutely matters in crossbows.

Machinist already has auto crossbow and the ranged physical dps limit break other than level three uses crossbow(s) already.

Regardless, I doubt that either of those or a limited job using any type of crossbow would matter as Ninja/Viper/Paladin already can be boiled down to Short/Medium/Long swords basically with RDM being Thin ones (rapiers)

Just because there is one crossbow attack, and a limit break does not mean it won't happen. In fact, the crossbow limit break makes it even more likely we will get a crossbow job someday.

In ff14 they use axe+shield based on Lyon and I think mini lyon.

Melee LBs other than 3 use giant swords, didn't stop dark knight.

In ff11 and other ff games beastmaster appear in they use axe and shield. You could even dual wield axes in ff11 so it probably use an axe and shield if it came.

Guess it depends if it'll get any actual atk skills of its own or if its leaving all the fighting to the monster. If it is more of the monster fighting then I could see whip or crossbow being more of a thing...

Crossbows are for Hunters/Rangers, aka as Bards in this game. Wouldn’t be surprised if it gets more crossbow crap going forward

Nothing saying the Limited Job couldn't be Corsair.

Personally, if the new caster is also an original job than I think the limited will also be original.
