We don't know 20 of it's abilities' animations, what they do, what they are named, all we have is this picture and the name. Why do people get so up in arms over such tiny things like 'I don't like the name, it doesn't fit the class's aesthetic' when we have seen literally like 3% of what that 'aesthetic' is even built from

To be fair, it probably should've shown at least one "snakey" ability in its reveal if it's supposed to be a core theme of the job. I think that's where the presentation failed, since generic sword slashes and seemingly unrelated blue flames a la Blue Exorcist doesn't really tell us anything.

Now that I'll fully agree with. it may well be like a Dragoon teaser without a single jump / RDM teaser without a single enchanted sword slash.

We won't know for sure yet whether it is or isn't, but the fact that we can't yet see the connection would imply it's not exactly even teasing much, which would make it seem like not the greatest of teasers.

(I'd say the initial GNB teaser wasn't much of one either, so we're not without other examples of not-great teasers, but that doesn't make it any more exciting or informative.)
