Good motifs utilize more than a single facet, and the fact that people keep pulling this "oh vipers are the fastest snakes" to justify the name is just...really poor critical analysis.

A job that is only about speed? Calling it a Viper is practically a malapropism, or at the very least not really delivering on the expectations of the name. You'd be better off calling it something like Falcon, or Panther, or Shark.

Again, I think Viper is additionally a poor name because windmilling a sword-staff around isn't remotely Viperish. The split swords, sure, but that's only half the skills. So why isn't this class called a Hunter, with a Viper stance (separate swords) and a Hawk stance (combined swords)?
