The site was as I expected, so I can't say I'm disappointed, but why they waited a month to publish it is anyone's guess.

website design is disorganized... i think not a good idea to open this new one.

na, with their current screenshot from E3, i believe they can do better.. i'm sorry to say,
this one unattractive and do not have the 'selling power'
It's up for us, not for a selling prospective yet. In August when they do their Marketing Campaign that site will be in Full Power mode.. Remember this game is not coming out Officially till This Winter season or January.

If its anything like the previous version of the site new tabs will be added and old info will be reorganized. I expect all the current info on the site to be put in an all encompassing 'media' tab later. The good news is that the site launched, which means they now have a standard portal to showcase new 2.0 stuff. I don't expect it to fill up too big till Gamescon/Final Fantasy 25th anniversary conference in August, but the fact its live means they now have a portal to add little things like lore, new tabs for gameplay content (just like the old site), info on the regions, maybe quick explanations on how the core parts of crafting get changed etc. (Remember this site is for new and old players, it will have core concepts explained in it later).
I'm 'hoping' we will see some more stuff in it now that it launched every other week leading into late august, starting this weekend with Anime Expo in Paris where Yoshida is going to doing a stage demonstration/talk of FFXIV 2.0 (including autographs after its done).

The color usage and navigation bars and stuff is all done correctly so nothing wrong with those as I do website designing one thing I don't get is... it took them this long to do it after E3 for the amount of info they just show (already shown stuff)
I would of expected them working on the site 1-2 month prior to E3 or whenever they had planned the original release date of the website. I guess it's good for those that never saw the images from the interviews and such for most part I would expect current playing players have already seen these pics from other players putting links up on LS/PT chat.
Some friends I know still going crazy over GW2... I was kind of looking forward to GW2 at initial release of the video's and all the goodies but as I saw the closed beta stuff and images my friend showed me I wasn't interested any more lol.
==========
Just hoping when YoshiP goes up on stage 2 days from now at Japan Expo he has new images/gameplay video to show.
If he just shows the same images shown at E3 it's not gonna work for some people to keep them hyped up although 2.0 is getting really close now.

He said in the recent producer letter that some of the stuff we should expect to see 'after' the site goes up includes videos. I'm wondering if we had another occurrence similar to E3 where they planned to have it come out soon after, got momentarily delayed, and when they realized they had nothing to put in there as an update for a bit, decided to delay it till shortly before they could/would update it. They might have released the site now just to make sure it was working in all regions before getting it ready for this weekends Anime Expo. As we can see the NA part of the site is still having issues XD.The color usage and navigation bars and stuff is all done correctly so nothing wrong with those as I do website designing one thing I don't get is... it took them this long to do it after E3 for the amount of info they just show (already shown stuff)
