[Collaboration Request] New Monster Hunter Collaboration for Dawntrail

Whenever I see the maps in Dawntrail in Tural, especially the map Yak Tel that's basically a thick jungle, I can't help but think of the perfect monster to just throw there to wreck havoc: Nargacuga!



It's the perfect monster for an area that's referencing South America and in my humble opinion we need another Monster Hunter collab to add to the Rathalos that we got way back in Stormblood. We'll get new glamour gear and Nargacuga itself as a mount like with the previous collab trial. Hell, they can also add weapons made from it and they can make that a reason to go back to Rathalos and add its weapons too.

And why stop at Nargacuga? They already showed the arid desert Shaaloani. Add Diabolos there too! It's the perfect monster for that area.



It's just a shame in my opinion that they managed to get Capcom to collaborate with them before and never made a new collaboration since. I want to see how they can experiment with the mechanics just like what they did with Rathalos before.

Heck no.. if we get another MH collab we better get Zinogre.. I wanna ride around on the Thunder Wolf.. or Stigant Zinogre is acceptable too

I forget. In what kind of biome does Zinogre live? If we get a map that fits that definition then why not, right?

MH is the only game that manges to feel slower and clunkier than FFXIV imo but some of the monsters are cute
I'd love to be able to dress up as a dodogama.

The players of Final Fantasy XIV deserve to be forced to deal with Furious Rajang with all mechanics and movement intact.

They should do Plesioth, and make it a game of 'why did I get hit this time'. Was it 'server netcode sucks', 'hitboxes are absolutely massive' or just 'you lagged lol', who knows and you're not going to find out!

Joking aside, Rajang's pretty up there on 'infamy', though I'd like to see FF14's take on an Elder Dragon fight, with Duty Actions for things like firing the Dragonator. A fun Elder Dragon, though, not Kushala Daora he sucks. Maybe Alatreon, maybe Fatalis for the millionth time. Or Gore/Shagaru Magala and the frenzy debuff

On which note, I think they missed a trick by having Rathalos and then just Rathalos-but-HighRank. Instead they could have recolored it and made it an Azure Rathalos. So whatever it could be in this hypothetical second crossover, I'd love to see an actual difference between regular and Extreme modes, where it's not just 'more HP, moves faster', but an actual difference. Like for Rajang, normal mode is a regular Rajang, he has the sneak peek of his Super Saiyan mode when he gets mad at times, but EX has a Furious Rajang, constantly in SSJ and his enrage phases jump him up to SSJ3, and he gains new moves like Spirit Bombs that are EX exclusive
